These products are suspension
concentrates that have a physical mode of action for use on protected and
outdoor edible and non-edible crops. Agri-50E was developed using proprietary
formulation technologies that uses seaweed gum (propylene glycol alginate) to
suffocate insects and pathogens without harming plants. The result is a safe,
effective pesticide delivering cost-effective control of many hard to kill
foliar insect and disease pests.

contact pesticides, maintaining good spray coverage is essential for maximizing
pest suppression.
These products have proven
excellent contact performance against all major whitefly pest species,
particularly Bemisia tabaci. Detailed field performance trials have been
completed in various countries worldwide against whiteflies as well as other
hard to kill pests such as the California red scale (Diaspididae), the
Pear psylla (Psyllidae), and Russet mites (Eriophyidae).
Extensive research has also been conducted to determine these effects on
beneficial parasites and predators and compatibility with pollinators such as
bumble bees.
