Cal-Agri Executive
Summary
Cal-Agri Company was formed in
2000 after its new unique product formulation called
Agri-50 proved very successful to
control insect & disease pests after trials on some Californian
vineyards.
The company was created by Bruce
Kemper & Richard Steckler both of whom were previously retired successful
businessmen, having sold their former businesses in construction and textiles,
to become fully active to develop Cal-Agri Products LLC.
The directors of Cal-Agri have developed a
company policy of:

bio-degradable products for agriculture
- Manufacturer of
agri-products that are both
safe for the environment, people and
animals
- Research & development
based on the principle of
"The Whole World Going Green"
- Efficacy testing done
world-wide on a wide variety of
valued crops by over 300 recognised doctors
& specialists.
The potential world market of
agri-products is worth billions of dollars for Cal-Agri and its affiliates,
with first sales to protect high value crops such as fruits and vegetables for
growers. Cal-Agri is now starting to get involved with protecting mass crops
for example rice, tea, sugar cane, soybeans, for growers keen to see its
control effects on pests.
Cal-Agri aligns itself with IPM
oriented companies [see our distributors & affiliates pages] for increasing
its product distribution around the world. All Cal-Agri products are
protected from piracy by a patent with the legal right to sell and trade in the
European Union of Member States. Our present banded products include: Agri-50, Agri-50E, Agri-50NF,
Agri-Seagreen, Agri-Colle and Agri-Terra
Its valued
Agri-50 branded product is based upon
a physical rather than a chemical control or above ground insect control of pests
such as whiteflies, aphids, scale, mites and includes powdery mildew, an added
benefit for fruit growers. All components of the product have been approved for
food use or as additives.
Cal-Agri is developing a new
branded product called Agri-Terra for
the in soil control of nematodes and soil pathogens. Its present manufacturing
base is in Davis, California, USA, developing new manufacturing plants
in both Europe and China.
With Tremendous potential in
China with over 1,800,000 hectares of valuable covered agriculture, Dr R.
Steckler is now based in Hong Kong, having distributed Cal-Agri products
throughout Asia, recently finalised a deal in China for the distribution with a
major Chinese company. Registration of Cal-Agri Products in China was completed
in January 2006.
Cal-Agri Products are sold
successfully in Europe, Africa and Asian Countries with its next penetration
sales markets in the Latin Americas.
The global market for Cal-Agri
product sales is now perfect to catch the increasing consumer demand for safer
products for the environment to enhance the ability for man to feed the
